Why is there a difference between the number of steps recorded by my third-party application and Move For Youth ?

It's true that each application uses its own algorithm to count steps, and no method is 100% infallible. It's therefore normal to find slight discrepancies between your application and Move For Youth. Don't panic, the main thing is to have fun!

Sometimes, a simple authorization problem can be at the root of these discrepancies. Here are some steps you can take to remedy the situation:

For Android

  1. Go to your phone's settings.
  2. Select the “Move For Youth” application.
  3. Click on “Physical activity”.
  4. Make sure the “Allow” option is checked. If it's already checked, uncheck it and check it again!

For iOS

  1. Open your iPhone Settings,
  2. Go to Health 
  3. Click on “Access to data and devices”.
  4. Click on Move For Youth.

Activate all options. If they are already activated, deactivate them and then reactivate them.

This should reset the synchronization of your steps with Move For Youth.
